Chicklette

Here is L'Oreal Paris- Chicklette. I think this is a lovely color, but quite close to Essie- Need A Vacation. I had the same problems with streaky-ness and un-even coverage. I did three coats, and with that it takes a while to dry. I was really on a kick about this time last year with light pinks. I think I picked up colors that were very similar to each other. I think these colors are really best to go on a french manicure. Because, then you don't have to go all out and use three or so coats. You can get by with one or two. I think I'm going to try to find more "unique" light pinks so that I don't keep picking up some of the same shades.
Enjoy.

  2. But you can never have too many pinks! That's too bad about the application. China Glaze makes some nice pinks with good coverage, maybe go to Sally and check some out if you don't have any.

  3. Hmmm...I do this very same thing with certain colors or shades of a color. Raspberry colors for instance! I have several different brands of the color, "raspberry"...lol! Very pretty though!

  4. Nail Polish Junkie~ Thanks!

Mary~ Thanks! I think I'm going to have to check those out!

Velvet~ Glad to know I'm not alone! The colors are always so pretty in the bottle, and it's a shame they don't apply very well.

  5. Pretty shade. I also do the same with some shades. I go to put my "new" color away and there are more of the same kind. I also have a bad problem doing the same thing with lipsticks. Sort of a berry shade, little deeper than your lips. I have so many of that shade. Maybe one is a tiny bit darker and another a tiny bit lighter. Frustrating.
