Need A Vacation

Good Evening. Here we have Essie- Need A Vacation. This is a very nice light pink that can make you look very tan if you have pale skin like me. :) This was the color I picked when I got my very first manicure done professionally. My hands and nails glowed for almost a week and I was in love with the color. I was lucky enough to find the polish at a beauty supply store. However, this polish just isn't the best. I LOVE the color, but the application is horrible. It's thick and never evens itself out. I used three coats in these pictures, but it still looks streaky. I think I loved it so much because it was my very first manicure. It's still a nice color... just not so great application-wise. But, coming up I have some more light pinks and they have the same problem with streaky-ness and un-even application. Maybe that color just doesn't apply well all together?

I can see why you like it, it's beautiful! Pinks are tough to find in cremes that apply well :/

Nail Polish Junkie~ I love it too, but I found it ONCE and haven't seen it in stores since. I have seen a lot of colors that are almost identical to it.

Mary~ Thanks, and I am slowly noticing that cremes are VERY hard to apply sometimes.

Velvet~ I wish I could get the same finish I did when I first got my nails done with this color. It was so pretty. Oh well.

Very pretty pink. Why is it that everything is better when a professional does it. You can have all the same products but it's just not the same.
