Pixi: Metallic Mermaid

Hey y'all! I didn't do anything really special with my nails for my birthday, in fact I still have the nail strips on. They just keep holding on! I'm very impressed with them, and I picked up some new ones yesterday. But anyway, I wanted to share another Pixi polish I have that I found on clearance at Target. Take a look at Metallic Mermaid!

I totally messed up my middle finger. When I applied the topcoat, it did something weird on only that finger. Really weird. But I absolutely love this shade of blue. I realize there are definitely visible brushstrokes. I'm not usually a fan of that, I usually hate it. But for whatever reason, it doesn't bother me with this shade. I just love how sparkly this is in the sun, and I love it with my skin tone. It just works. What do y'all think? Have you tried Pixi polishes? What do y'all think of them? Let me know!

Okay, on a completely unrelated note... I am FREAKING out! Today is my first day at the University of Memphis. I'm so scared. I'm transferring from a little community college to a university and I couldn't be more nervous! I'm excited because it's something new, and much better, but I'm nervous beyond words. On top of that, I have a night class. And that's tonight. It's only once a week, but I'm freaking out about that too. Y'all leave me your stories of college and make me feel better. I'm so scared!!! Ahhh! Wish me luck!
