Stellare Notte

Hey y'all! I want to show off Stellare Notte by Borghese today. It's such a pretty polish, but I kinda have a love/hate relationship with it. Read on! :)

I tried so hard to capture the shimmer in this that turns from purple to green to a sort of blue. But I don't think I got it. :(
I think this is a really unique polish, and one that I had considered getting for the longest time before I *actually* got it. It has loads of color changing shimmer in a blackened blue/purple base. It goes from purple to green to a blue tint. And I definitely don't own anything else like this. However, I have such a hard time applying this. It's got a weird consistency, and drying time seems to take forever! I'm not intrigued by that special brush they claim to have, because to me, it's just a brush. And the price is definitely too much for what I'm really getting. The color is really interesting though. And I kind of enjoy the shape of the bottle, and the brush is easy to hold. But should I really have to pay that much for those things? I really don't think so, and that's why I don't own many bottles of Borghese. I usually only pick one up if it's majorly marked down or a color that really catches my eye. So what do y'all think? Does anyone have this polish? If so, does anyone else have the same problems/complaints as I do? Let me know!

Today was a busy day! I am sooo wiped out. Tomorrow is going to be spent packing for Florida and scheduling some posts while I'm gone! I want to say a little WELCOME to all my new followers! Y'all make my day and thank you so much for stopping by! I also love the comments that y'all leave me. It's so nice to know that people actually read my blog and can get something out of it. I really enjoy doing this. Thanks for reading! :)

I do love the bottle:P And I can sort of see the shades of purple in it and some hints of green. It is a nice colour and im sure its even prettier in person:)

I don't own any shades of Borghese. However, I do use their quick drying top coat, because it was on clearance. The shape of the bottle is cool until most of the product is gone and then it's nearly impossible to tip it and get the brush to reach the polish. I've got one more bottle of Borghese quick drying top coat left and then I'll not buy it again.

I can see the greens and purples when I enlarge the pics. It's a pretty shade but that drying time would drive me crazy. Thanks for posting!

I honestly haven't really been impressed with the brand. Then again, I feel that way about a lot of brands I become obsessed with, so all they need is one good collection and that will change :)

I don't own any Borghese because I can't bring myself to spend 8 dollars on a drugstore brand. It's exactly why I haven't picked up the Sally Hansen polish strips.

Audrey L.- Oh good! It was super hard to capture that. In person it is a lot prettier! :)

Kay- I've never even thought about their top coats! There are just too many things about this brand that drive me crazy. I didn't think about the bottle shape being a problem when you run out of the top coat! How weird! Thanks for reading. :)

thenailaholic- Hahaha, yes, one great collection... that's super marked down. LOL. :)

Poetic Realist- Right?!? It's just too much! I haven't tried those SH strips either. Thanks for reading! :)
