A Look at My Collection: Glitters

Time to look at all the glitters in my collection! Numbers 14 through 18 were just some experiments I was doing. Some of these glitters are kind of blahhh on their own, so I wanted to see what they looked like over black.

1. Sinful Colors: Pink 4 Ever
2. Sinful Colors: Pearl Harbor

3. Sinful Colors: Paris
4. Sinful Colors: Green Ocean

5. Sinful Colors: Hottie
6. Sinful Colors: UFO

7. Orly: Love Each Other
8. China Glaze: Fairy Dust

9. Nicole by OPI: Love Your Life
10. Claire's: Crush

11. Wet n Wild: Glitz
12. Wet n Wild: Kaleidoscope

13. Ulta: Pinata Yada Yada
14. Wet n Wild: Black + Orly: Love Each Other
And a close up of number 14. Love Each Other is such a unique polish. It's nothing on it's own, but put it over black and it's a whole new color. I love it!

15. Wet n Wild: Black + China Glaze: Fairy Dust
16. Wet n Wild: Black + Claire's: Crush

17. Wet n Wild: Black + Wet n Wild: Kaleidoscope
18. Wet n Wild: Black + Sinful Colors: Green Ocean
And my nails of today! I'm wearing Sally Hansen Insta Dri Fuchsia Flare.

Sinful Colors has some awesome glitters if y'all ever get the chance to check those out. And they're only $1.99, so they're a great inexpensive option! I think my favorite glitters are Pinata Yada Yada, Glitz, and Green Ocean. But I like all of them. They're a lot of fun to wear, and as y'all can probably tell... I've used up a lot of them. For a while I was all about adding glitter to every single mani. I'm not as into that as I used to be, but I'm starting to like the glitter accent nail. But that's *such* a pain to remove. Oh well! What are y'all's favorites?

Mochacino

Behold, Essie Mochacino!

These pictures were taken in the late afternoon so I didn't get the best sunshine pic, but I think this will do. This is one of my most favorite browns. I'm going to call it brown, because to me, that's what it looks like. With a buncha fine glitter. It's really a cute shade. I used three coats and had no problems with the application. Drying time was a little funky and I'm not really sure why. A quick dry top coat should fix that, though. So what do y'all think? Who else has this color?

On another note, I tested out my Nicole by OPI drying drops tonight! I did my grandmothers nails for an event she's going to and I thought it was the perfect time to test them out. I love them! They're actually really fun to use. It comes with a little dropper and you just drop 1-2 drops on your nail. It contains jojoba and Vitamin E, so it conditions your cuticles as it's drying your nails. The box says that after 60 seconds your nails should be dry to the touch. After 5 minutes your nails will be completely dry. And that is true! I'm really excited to use these on myself, because I am so impatient when it comes time to let my nails dry. I almost always end up with some dent or smudge in my polish. Hopefully that's over with now! Has anyone else used these drying drops?

I hope y'all are all having a great weekend! I'm getting really excited for next week as we are leaving for Florida on Friday. I'm thinking up a post for possible polish ideas for the trip, so get ready to help me pick something out! Thanks for reading! :)

Mini Haul

Hey y'all! How was everybody's weekend? Mine was pretty good! Friday was really nothing special. I went out for frozen yogurt with my family and made an evening trip to Walmart... which is always fun, right?! ha! Saturday we had reservations in Harbor Town for Paulette's. Probably some of the best food in this world! Oh, and one thing about frozen yogurt... really just a simple suggestion. If you see a Banana Pudding yogurt, don't get it. Oh my it was so gross! Banana is a risky flavor. And that's all I'm going to say about that. :) On to the mini haul! I was out and about with my Mom today and we stopped in Target, one of my favorite stores. I ended up with everything you see in this post.
This top was only $12.99! I love light, loose tops right now. It's summer and it's the coolest thing to wear. You can always pair it with a light sweater if you're going out. I'll usually put a colored tank top under something like this.
My Mom kindly bought this polish. She loved the color and so did I! It's really neat and one I haven't seen from this brand before. Can't wait to try it out! :) The name is Grey Area. Have y'all seen/heard about it?
She also bought these Drying Drops- how kind! She's read about these in several different magazines, so she wanted to try them. Does anyone know if these work? I'm really anxious to see if they work! I think they cost the same as one of the polishes from Nicole by OPI.
And then I bought these sandals. I've been wanting them for a few weeks now. I think they're just too cute! They come in a few different colors, but the turquoise is too cute to turn up. Looove! I think they'll look cute with that black top and some jean shorts. :) Oh! And they were only $15! Heck yeah!

So good haul right? Yeah, I think so. What did y'all do this weekend? Is it as hot where y'all are as it is here? I hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday and that everyone has a great week! Nail posts will resume tomorrow. :)

P.S. Check out this great blog! :)

Can I get a Woooo Pig Soooie?!

Well hey y'all! It's been a while since I did a little posting here, so I thought I'd drop by.
I'm excited for tonight because my Arkansas Razorbacks will be in Starkeville, MS to play the Mississippi State Bulldogs. It's a big night for my 8-2 #13 Razorbacks! Wooo Pig Sooie! In honor of the big night ahead, I decided to sport some red nails, courtesy of OPI's Chick Flick Cherry- probably the best red in my collection. It's got a great formula and dries super quick with the help of Nicole by OPI's Top Coat Plus. I did two coats of CFC and then topped it off with my top coat. A few weeks ago I went into Sally's to look for a dotting tool. I found one, and I can't believe I went that long without one. When it comes to nail art, I have no creativity and it just gives me a headache trying to come up with some sort of design. Needless to say, dots are the extent of my creativity on my nails. The dotting tool makes it so easy to create the perfect dot. So I used black for the dots- Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Black Out. Black Out is the cheapest, yet best black out there, very easy to work with. I topped it off, again, with my top coat. I like the outcome of this manicure. It's festive and I think I'll try to leave it on for Thanksgiving, as well. I don't really think of red for that holiday, but it is my favorite color and I think I can pull it off. :)

I hope y'all are enjoying the weekend. We have beautiful weather here. It's not super cold and it's definitely not hot! Lovin it! I think that's all for now, but, of course, GO HOGS! :)

Positive Energy

Good Evening! Finally a nail polish post! Gosh... I've missed it. As you can kind of tell, it was overcast when I took these pictures. So, they aren't the best quality. It cleared up nicely, too. I'm sure ya'll are tired of me talking about Jacksonville's weather.

This is Nicole by OPI's~ Positive Energy. Color-wise this is a really shiny, metallic silver. It's kind of streaky, but eventually those streaks even out. I used two coats in the pictures above. I added a top coat for extra shiny-ness.

This is the only bottle of Nicole by OPI that I own, and I am impressed. I like the formula. It went on very nicely and it was easy to control. I like the bottle, too. Although, I can tell they will be hard to store because they are an awkward shape. The color is very pretty in my opinion. I think it looks good on shorter nails. And, it would probably look good with all skin tones. I did, however, think that it took a while for it to dry. Eventually it did dry. haha

Hope ya'll are all doing good. What do ya'll think?

Oh, by the way... WELCOME to all my new followers!!

Talk to ya'll later.
