Happy Monday, y'all! All I can think about is going to the Razorbacks game in a few weeks. So, needless to say, RED is on my mind! So here's one I picked up about a month ago on clearance from Sally's. It's Savvy by Femme Couture Shimmer Time! As I've mentioned before, red is one of my favorite colors and I find it really weird that I don't have very many reds in my polish collection. I'm trying to remedy this situation. And that's why I picked up this beauty. It's your basic red with a little shimmer so it's really sparkly in the sun. Check out the pics!
I took these pictures in the late afternoon, early evening. The quality isn't as good, but I tried to pick the best pictures that kind of showed off the shimmer. It's a gorgeous polish! I needed three coats. There's nothing really wrong with the formula, but it is kind of thin. I think most people could get away with two coats, though. I think I just threw on that third coat for good measure. This is the only bottle from this brand that I own. Like I said, I got this one on clearance, so I don't know how much these regularly cost. I don't usually pay attention to this brand when I'm at Sally's. Usually because I'm blinded by all the pretty China Glaze, Finger Paints, and Orly polishes. haha. :) So what do y'all think? So pretty! I am not a real big fans of red polishes! I do not use them often, but I have a few of them.
Savvy does seem to get overlooked a lot; not sure why Sally's doesn't feature them more. Even when there is a special collection, it's usually hidden off to the side somewhere instead of in the feature display area.
I love red polishes, they seem to apply so nicely on me. This color definitely looks awesome on you!

You've always got all these great polishes I've never seen before, it's awesome! That's a very "adult" red too, I dig it (you can be very clean and professional or go wild and dress it up easily).
