OMG Nail Strips Review

Hey y'all! A while back I was contacted to do a review for OMG Nail Strips. I've been a horrible blogger and I've just now gotten around to posting about it. I'm truly sorry for that. I'm usually more on top of stuff, but it has been a crazy past two months. I was sent some plain nail polish strips, which are right below, with a super cute pattern. I'm a big fan of red and black together. And then I had some foil strips.

So I'll start by talking about the plain nail strips. I will admit that I'm not as experienced as others in the nail strip department, but I have had experience with them. I had a little trouble getting these to go on correctly and I went through a lot of them just trying to get them to cooperate. This was the best that I got. I think y'all can probably see the bubbles, but the pattern is so intriguing that I don't think it's as noticeable as it could be.

The foils were my main problem. My mom and I both worked with them. I used up so many trying to get some that didn't just flip up and peel off. I was provided directions on how to use them and I did follow those directions. I was also told to use a hair dryer on high heat to work out any imperfections. I could tell that that helped a little, but I just couldn't get these to cooperate. However, my mom's worked out a lot better than mine (her nail is the first picture with the white background). I loved the pattern on the foil and I wish it could have worked out better. Do y'all have any experience with foil nail strips? Please provide feedback! I need to know if anyone else has had trouble with foils of any brand.

Overall, I enjoyed getting to review these products. I received them in a timely manner and dealing with the company was just fine. I would recommend going to their website to check it out.

Mont Bleu Review

Hey y'all and Happy Wednesday! I was recently asked to review a few products from the Czech Republic based company, Mont Bleu. I have reviewed their glass nail files before and I absolutely loved them! I only use those glass files now because they work just perfectly for me. This time I got to review a few products and I'm so excited to share with y'all!

The first product I'm sharing is a compact mirror. This company hand decorates their products with Swarovski crystals. I just love it! My compact had a little butterfly detail. You can purchase these with the details, or you can get a plain mirror. It contains a normal mirror on one side and one that magnifies on the other side. Perfect! You can just throw this in your bag and you're good to go!
I think my favorite product to review was the tweezers. I loved that they were pink with the little pink crystals, but they're really just great tweezers! They're so much better than the ones I had been using. I feel like they grip better, and they're really easy to handle.
The last thing I got to review was the foot scraper, which is basically just a really big glass file. This is perfect for pedicures! It's thick and heavy, but also easy to handle.

I just loved these products and the pink theme that I had going on. I highly suggest checking out Mont Bleu's website. They offer a wide variety of products, from glass files to really neat jewelry. I think these products are unique because of the way they are decorated. If you go on over to their site, be sure to check out the "Gifts & Souvenirs" link. :)

Review: Mont Bleu Glass Nail Files

Hey y'all! I was asked to do a review for Mont Bleu, a company based in Prague, Czech Republic. They sell a lot of different beauty products, like glass nail files. So that's what I'll be reviewing for y'all! I was sent two files, and they came in this case, which you will see below.

I was told that they hand decorate with the crystals on the pink file. I think it's so pretty and the perfect amount of decoration for a nail file. Naturally, the pink one was my favorite of the two. :)
I was very pleased with these files. I think glass nail files are so much better for your nails, so I was very happy to review these. I usually go for the square look on my nails, and it seemed like that was a lot easier to pull off with these files, as opposed to a regular emery board.
And here's a picture of my naked nails on my right hand. My nails are still short, but I was able to square them off a little bit.
Overall, I love these files. They're so easy to work with. I found that the glass files are so much more gentle on your nails. I didn't feel that dragging that you normally feel with nail files. And the end result is a smooth free edge. I sometimes have problems filing my nails because the edge just feels so rough. I'll usually end up just clipping my nails down. Luckily, I didn't have to do that when I used these. I'm very impressed!
I also really enjoyed working with this company. They were very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. I highly suggest checking out their website, here, and consider purchasing a glass nail file or two!
What do y'all think of glass nail files? Have you ever tried them? Let me know what y'all think!
Thanks for reading! :)
