butter London: Chancer

Because I'm so desperately wishing it was fall and college football was on every Saturday, I bring y'all butter London's Chancer. This is the perfect Razorback red. I have two games I'm going to this year, so I guess it's time to start planning manicures. This is on my list. Take a look!

Soooo gorgeous! I really have a thing for red. I have red everything in my room. From pillows on my couch to the lamp on my bedside table. For real. Red is my favorite color. So as soon as I saw this I had to have it. I just love the sparkle in it. It only took two coats and the formula was pretty good. The only thing was... it chipped within 12 hours. Not cool. Maybe I need to invest in a better top coat. But other than that, I love it!

What do y'all think of Chancer? What is your favorite nail color? What do y'all think of butter London?

I hope y'all are having a good weekend! I have worked three days straight (which doesn't sound like much... I know... but it was busy... abnormally busy for a Hallmark shop...) and I'm dead tired. I think I have next Saturday off though! But I don't know what I'm going to do with myself. I have worked every Saturday for almost a year now. It's going to be extra weird. Hopefully I find something good to do. If only college football began next Saturday... ahhh.

Thank y'all for reading! :)

butter London: Trout Pout

Hey y'all! I found some nail polish pictures on my camera. So weird! I remember taking pictures of this butter London, but I don't know why I didn't post it. I was talking about Trout Pout the other day in my vlog. I wasn't super impressed with the quality, and I really think that's a shame. These polishes cost $14, but with this formula, you wouldn't think this was a high end brand. Maybe I was just having an off day with polish. That's entirely possible. If I'm not patient enough with the polish, it doesn't get applied properly and it doesn't look its best. This was so long ago, I just don't remember. But it IS very similar to Pixi's Coral Cabana. I'm going to do a comparison of those soon. Anyway, this is three coats of Trout Pout.

I really like the color. I'm always drawn to these types of shades, especially in the summer. And y'all, I do love butter London. I just wasn't impressed with this one. I haven't been back to the butter London area in Ulta, so I don't know what kinds of shades they have out right now. But I'm sure that they will put out some great fall shades. I'm actually ready for fall shades, not to mention fall weather. I love those dark, almost black shades. And of course some Razorback Red!

What do y'all think of Trout Pout? Has anyone tried it? What's your favorite butter London shade? Have you had similar problems with a shade from this brand, or another brand?

I just got back from a little trip to Nashville! I had such a good time, and I actually got to meet a fellow blogger! I wish I could have spent more time in Nashville, but I had to get back for work tomorrow. Bummer. But I've had such a fun summer. I hope y'all are all having a great week! Thanks for reading! :)

butter London: Wallis

Hey y'all! I know I've been talking about showing y'all Wallis & it's taken me forever to get around to posting, but it's finally here! I'm pretty sure everyone knows how exciting Wallis is and how excited everyone was to get it. I was lucky enough to find it when BL's went on sale back in September. So take a look at this gorgeous polish!

I'm always very impressed with butter London. I feel like it's 100% worth the $14 price tag. You're getting the most amazing formula, and a flawless application. So why not spend money on something that's gonna rock? Am I right? Anyway! This is the most gorgeous olive green with the most beautiful shimmer. If y'all are looking for the perfect fall shade, look no further. This is what you need to find. I also only needed two coats. I love only using two! It's such a pain to have to do three or more. I mean, three really isn't bad. More than three is, though. So this is just an all around amazing polish!
What do y'all think of Wallis? Do y'all own any BL's? If so, which ones? Do you love the brand like I do? What do you think of the price? Let me know!
Thanks for reading! :)

butter London: Victoriana & A Job/Life Update

Hey y'all! I've found a little time to update, so I hope y'all are ready to hear some stuff! But first I want to show you pictures of butter London's Victoriana. I showed y'all the bottle pictures of this one and Wallis back in September. I got them when they went on sale at Ulta. I'm so so so happy I picked this one up! It's the most gorgeous blue with tons of silver shimmer. Take a look!

I seriously believe that you can never go wrong with butter London polish. It's always the most flawless application and it just has the best formula! I only needed two coats for this. Another reason to LOVE it. If they weren't $14 a bottle, y'all better believe I'd need a whole drawer dedicated to the brand. For real. Isn't it gorgeous? What's your favorite butter London shade? Did you pick any up when they were on sale in September?

So as y'all know I'm finally employed! It feels great to have that kind of freedom. I can already tell that things are going to get hectic, stressful, and maybe even a little emotional. At least I know I can get moody when things change. But that's just me. How do y'all balance the real world and life? I'd love to know. I have to balance college, with a boyfriend and social life, with family, with expenses, with babysitting, and with a real job. Am I going a little over board? I know most of y'all have way more to deal with, and I can't even begin to imagine what that's like! But anyway, I think I'm going to really like my job. I'm working at a Hallmark store, so it's mainly cards and gift type items. It's really not that complicated, but sometimes business can be slow. And that's when I go crazy bored. But the very BEST part is that I can wear jeans, so it's casual. Of course I need to look presentable. So no holes in my jeans, and a nice top. No problem. And nail polish? Whatever color I want. Thank the LORD! Ahh! For a first job, I don't think I could have found anything better. I will be working a lot though. I still get to babysit on Wednesdays, so I have that day off. And Sundays, because they're closed. So that's the update on my job!

Other life updates? Umm. I'm sure I could go on and on. Some of my classes seriously bug the $%@# out of me! I think that I get along with people pretty well, but these folks... not so much. Well I say that, but I'm not rude and I don't open my mouth, ever, to say what I really think. I believe it's best that I keep my mouth shut. So it's gonna stay that way. Other than that, things seem to be going okay. Although I am a little stressed with all the new things that are happening in my life, other things seem to be straightening themselves out. For now, at least. I hope things stay fairly normal for a while longer. I love when things go right! Don't y'all?

OH BTW! My Hogs! Oh goodness! What a season we're having! I was so so so proud of them on Saturday night. Quite a game for those little Tigers over in Fayetteville. I love a good pay back game! 5-1 babyyy! :)

So how are all of y'all? What have y'all been up to? Can any of y'all relate to the things I'm going through? I always love to hear what y'all think, so definitely let me know!

Also welcome to my new followers! I'm always happy to have new readers, so thanks for joining!

I'll talk to y'all soon! Thanks for reading. :)

butter London Haul!

Today's an exciting day, y'all! Ulta had their buy one get one free butter London deal going on! Y'all better believe I gunned it to my Ulta after my classes were over! Oh yeah. You can't miss out on this kind of opportunity. It's too good. I was really worried that there wouldn't be much of a selection, but there really was! I found Victoriana and Wallis! I knew after seeing Victoriana on one of my favorite blogs, Eat.Sleep.Polish, I HAD to have it! It's sooo pretty! And then, of course, I needed Wallis. Everyone knows how gorgeous that polish is! I was so happy when I found it!

Seriously... are these not the most gorgeous polishes ever?! butter London does it up good! I'm so happy to add these to my ever-growing collection. The best part about this purchase was the fact that, well one of them was free, but I also had my $3.50 off coupon. So what did I pay? About $11 for both of these! Holla!
Did y'all hit up an Ulta today? If so, which polishes did you pick up? Did you find the ones you wanted? What other BL'S do you own? Let me know!
Thanks for reading! :)

butter London: Jaffa & Vlog 14!

Hey y'all! I'm so glad it's Thursday... or Thursday night. I don't have classes Friday, and I am beyond grateful for that! I also can't believe it's September. Time is seriously flying by.
So the summer is almost over. When college football starts, my Fall starts. Because of that, I'm trying to show y'all all the summer polishes I've got saved up on my computer. I have a lot. And I'll probably have more even when it's fall & winter. Just lettin y'all know. Today I wanted to show y'all butter London Jaffa! It's a gorgeous coral polish that I rocked this spring and summer. I am now butter London's #1 fan! I need to get my butt back up to Ulta to pick up some more of these polishes. Take a look at the pics!

3 coats for coral-y goodness! I know for a fact that this can look amazing at two coats, because I took this to a nail salon to get my nails done, and the manicurist only used two coats. And it looked great! So why I needed three coats, I really don't know. So what do y'all think of the color and butter London? Have you picked up any BL polishes? If so, which ones and how many do you have?
And here's my 14th vlog!

I just want to say thank you again to all my amazing followers/readers. I am so grateful for all of you. Y'all make my day brighter every day!
Thanks for reading & watching! :)

Hauls!

Despite my lack of blog posts, I've still managed to get my hands on a few new polishes. So I thought a "haul" post would be a good idea to get me back into the swing of things! :) These photos are terrible. Let's just say I'm not the tech-savvy one in the family.

Essie has kind of been my favorite brand lately... I think it's because it's become easier to find them. You can find them at Walgreens, WalMart, etc. I love their selection of blues, and even though I own the beautiful Turquoise & Caicos, I pick it up almost every time I see it, forgetting that I have it at home ready to be used. I'm weird. I bought all of these (with the exception of Mochacino, which my Mom purchased) at the regular price. It's about $8 a bottle. I bought them on separate occasions, but they're still a bit pricy. From left to right we have Beach Bum Blu, Turquoise & Caicos, Tart Deco, and Mochacino.
And who could pass up a brand new bottle of OPI? Two of these I bought a LONG time ago. I've worn them, but never posted them here. The first two are Samoan Sand and Bubble Bath. I found those at Target. My Mom bought the last one, Mimosas for Mr. & Mrs., last weekend at Ulta. She's sporting the color right now, and it looks perfect. But her nails are also perfect. :) We're both really drawn to these soft, neutral colors.
I always saw Jesse's Girl polishes on other blogs and never knew where to find them. I popped into Rite Aid a few months back and found a small display with a few of their colors. I like to buy new brands in two's if they're fairly inexpensive so I ended up with Beach Baby, the neon pink, and Julieg. I've already posted Julieg, and it's my go-to summer color. It's just perfect and I can't tell you how many times I've used it. I love it. These were $2.99 each if I can remember correctly. And I think it was buy one get one half off or something like that. It was kind of a long time ago so I'm not 100% on those details. They're really good, though. I'm pretty sure I'll go back for more. :)

Yay for a really blurry pic. This one wouldn't cooperate, so I'm sorry! I had been eye-ing a few of these Insta-Dri's for some time. I've never really heard great things about their formulas, but I had a Target gift card burning a hole in my wallet, so why not?! I got Blue Away and Jade Jump. I tested them out and I really like them! I'll have to get used to the awkward brush, but I'm really loving the colors! :) They were about $4.00 each.
The rest of these are just random finds. Back in the fall I bought Borghese Stellare Notte. I have mixed feeling about it. I wore it once and I just don't know if I love it. I've seen it on a bajillion blogs and it looks great. I think I need to wear it again and do a better job of application and then see how I feel. It is a pretty unique color. Ulta- Set the Nude and Sonia Kashuk- Tauped are colors my Mom picked out. They're both really pretty. Set the Nude can look really grey, so that's unique for my ever-growing collection. I bought butter London Jaffa and Zoya Gemma together on a trip to Ulta. LOVE Jaffa! It's a really great summer color. And I can see me rocking Gemma some time in the fall. I had a $3 off coupon for Ulta so I didn't have to spend a million dollars! I also had no idea Zoya's were sold at Ulta, so that was an awesome surprise. And having such easy access to butter London polishes won't be good for my bank account. ;) oh well! I love all these colors. :)
I want to swatch these soon! Which ones do y'all wanna see? Talk to y'all soon and thanks for keeping up with me! :)
